The Federation of Internet Solution Providers recently announced that they
are reorganizing FISPA so as to focus on the needs of members by state.
FISPA will now be an umbrella organization for state representation. FISPA
currently has members in:
AL,CA,FL,GA,IL,IN,KS,KY,LA,MD,MI,MN,MO, MS,NC,NJ,NV,OH,OK,OR,PA,SC,TN,TX,VA,WA.
In order for the National Internet Alliance to work, we need representation
from all ISP's who wish to band together to fight for open cable access. If
you wish to head up a FISPA Chapter in your state, please contact
jmarion@fispa.org
FISPA was founded in May, 1996 to represent the interests of Internet
Solution Providers. We are a not for profit 501C Corporation.
We call our members "SOLUTION" providers because our members are companies
who provide a whole range of services including Internet Access, Web
Hosting, Web Design and an ever increasing number of other services all
which use the Internet to facilitate a SOLUTION.
FISPA has a whole load of benefits specific to ISP's including discounts on
DSL, FRAME, PRI's and equipment. We also offer a host of "normal business
discounts" such as discounts of Insurance and Car Rentals.
Another benefit of membership is our membership Listserv. This is a great
way to exchange ideas and help with other FISPA Members. To see a list of
our current members, please go to http://www.fispa.org/public/currentmembers.asp
